Dear Parents and Guardians of 5th Graders,

The move from elementary to middle school is an exciting change, and we know you may have questions!

That’s why we’re inviting you to Parent University: Middle School 101 on Tuesday, April 29

Please attend the event at your child’s middle school - either Fremont Middle or Kuna Middle.

This event is designed to help parents understand what to expect in middle school, from classes and schedules to activities and ways to support your student.

Please note, this event is for parents only and will not include a school tour for students.

We held an open house last month and another for students will be Tuesday, Aug. 19.

We hope you can join us!

📅 Date: Tuesday, April 29
📍Locations: Fremont Middle School & Kuna Middle School
 🕕 Time: 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

To help us plan, please RSVP using the link included with this post.

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. We look forward to seeing you there!

Sincerely,

Principal Tim Jensen, Fremont Middle School

Principal Shelly Manuel, Kuna Middle School

P.S. You are also invited to “Focus on Your Future” Tuesday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at Fremont Middle School. This event for all middle school families is focused on the state’s  Advanced Opportunities program which provides every student attending an Idaho public school $4,625 to use towards eligible expenses in grades 7-12 to explore, advance and gain experience. If you need more information on this program and event, reach out to Kim Riggs, our college and career advisor:  kriggs@kunaschools.org
