Here at the Kuna School District, we take pride in our dedicated team of certified educators who are committed to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for all students.
On June 11, 2024, the Kuna School Board of Trustees voted unanimously to adopt the 2024-25 Master Contract.
If a certified staff member intends to return for the 2024-25 school year, they should review, sign, and submit their contract in Unified Talent no later than July 1.

Continuing Education Units (CEU’s)
The Kuna School District will allow certified employees that have Continuing Education Units (CEU) requirements for their required occupational licensure renewals issued by the appropriate Idaho state licensing board for certification the ability to turn in those CEUs at a ratio of fifteen (15) CEUs for one (1) credit granted and recognized for placement and/or advancement on the salary schedule.
This applies ONLY to: Counselors (if LPC); SLPs; School Psychologist; Social Workers; PT; OT; School Nurses; CTE Health Science Teachers, and Trades/Skills USA teachers
As per the MASTER CONTRACT - "Every staff member who completes credits in a program that leads to a graduate degree (M.A., M.S., M.B.A., J.D, Ed Specialist, Ed D., Ph.D.) is eligible for tuition reimbursement. This is for any credits completed after Sept 1 of this contract year. Staff members will pay for the credits initially.
As per the MASTER CONTRACT - "Certified staff who complete continuing education credits through the Idaho Education Association or Kuna School District, and pay for college credit for the course (up to 2 credits per staff) are eligible to receive reimbursement. This is for any credits completed after Sept 1 of this contract year."
If you are a CERTIFIED staff employee and are interested in being transferred to a different school for next year, please follow this process:
You will be interviewed for any openings by the administrator at the school you are requesting and qualified to go to. The only thing promised to you is an interview. The administrators are still in charge of which qualified candidates they hire for their openings.
