Happy Friday

Good afternoon families! Hope everyone's Spring Break was great! The students did really well coming back from a break and we were all excited to see them. Please read the information below . Have a wonderful weekend!

Lost and Found

We have a lot of items in our lost and found. Please check and see if your student is missing some items and have them look at the lost and found. We will be donating these in just a few weeks.

Upcoming Events

Popcorn Sales

April 3-4 Thursday and Friday we will be selling popcorn again! We are going to sell it before school, 8:30 to 8:50. The cost is $1.00 per bag. If your student would like to purchase popcorn, please have them bring their money on Thursday and Friday next week.

Book Fair

The Spring Book Fair will be from April 7th to the 11th. It will be open Monday through Thursday 3:35-5:00pm for families. It will also be available for the students during their scheduled library time.

Multicultural Carnival

Reed families! We need your help! This year the carnival will be bigger and better than ever, but ONLY if we have enough volunteers.

Volunteer incentives

*For every shift you work- 4 tickets to spend on games and at the raffle

*Entry to win a $25 Amazon gift card! (We are giving away 2 gift cards to staff and 2 to non-staff)

Our highest need is for game volunteers. If we don't get enough volunteers, we won't be able to have all of the games open. We have some really fun games planned this year and we are hoping to have them all open!

Lego League Expo

Lego League will hold their expo on April 12th from 9:00am-12:30pm. They have created a signup genius made for volunteers for that day. We are asking for anyone in the community to help out. If you would be interested in helping out please click on the link below and sign up!

Reminders

Classes Start at 8:50

Parents please remember our classes start at 8:50. If students are eating breakfast they need to be here by 8:30 to give them enough time to eat. If student are not in class by 8:50 they will be receiving a tardy on their attendance.

Doors Not open Until 8:30am

Parents, we do not have adult supervision outside before 8:30am. We also open our doors for breakfast at 8:30am. Please drop your students off at 8:30am and not earlier. With the cold weather, students are having to stand outside, without supervision, and in the cold until 8:30am. Thank you for your help and support.

Call the Office an HOUR Ahead of Time

Please call the office at least an hour ahead of time if you are picking up your student or changing how they are getting home. This ensures that we have them ready and/or can get the message to them in time.

Community Events

Community opportunity! Optimist Youth Football is hosting an all girls flag clinic on April 5th. Please follow the code on the flyer to sign up. all girls 8 to 17 welcome. You will also get the opportunity to meet a women's national flag player!

ICOM is holding a move and play day. On March 29th from 10:00-12:30pm kids ages 5-12 can come and participate in relay races and exercise, arts and crafts, fun games and prizes, and eat some healthy snack. Use the QR listed to sign your kids up.
