From the Principal: A Community of Learners
Hello Kuna Middle School Families,

At KMS, learning never stops – for students or our teachers. We're dedicated to high-quality instruction, which means our educators are always learning and growing. Our vision includes a thriving professional learning community, and this commitment to professional development is essential. We know supporting our teachers is the best way to support our students.

Our teachers participate in workshops, conferences, and collaborative learning. They work together in professional learning communities (PLCs), sharing ideas and analyzing student data. These PLCs help teachers learn from each other and improve their skills. For example, our math teachers our working together to use data from WIN courses to create small group differentiation. Our science teachers are developing hands-on lessons that spark students' curiosity. This professional growth directly benefits our students, making our teachers more effective and creating a richer learning experience.

We're proud of our professional growth and want to share it with you! Follow weekly updates through Department newsletters. See how we're investing in our teachers to better serve our students.

Partners in Learning,

Shelly Manuel
Principal

Feed it Forward
Food Insecurity is on the rise at Kuna Middle School
Feed it Forward is a program hosted by KMS PTO for KMS students.
It allows anyone to donate in order to cover needed school lunch funds.
Students are not allowed to charge meals.
Insufficient funds= no lunch
Short $.50 =no lunch

But, Feed it Forward can cover a student that day, so they can have a
hot lunch.
KMS PTO donated $500 in March to the program, that money was well spent covering student lunches.
They have donated another $500, but it will likely be gone in six weeks or less.
Please consider donating.

How to donate:
Scan the QR code, Specify Feed it Forward on your donation
If you would like a receipt, please reach out to the KMS PTO and they will provide one.
KMS PTO is a 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization
Thank you for supporting KMS and it's students
