Can you believe we’re already wrapping up 2024? I want to take a moment to reflect on what an amazing first half of the school year it’s been and thank each of you for making it so special.
This year has been filled with laughter and growth. Our students have been absolute rockstars, tackling challenges, making friends, and achieving so much both academically and personally. Watching their growth has been the best gift of all.
Let’s talk about the highlights—how could anyone forget the jog-a-thon? The kids ran their hearts out, and then there was the big finale: slime for me and a brand-new haircut for our School Resource Officer, Detective Terisa. What a day!
Parent-teacher conferences allowed us to team up and celebrate each student’s progress. The annual Thanksgiving Day Parade brought us some hallways excitement. The holiday sing-along filled the school with festive cheer. Our first TRAIL assembly celebrated our students’ incredible academic and behavioral achievements. Finally, our CAST crew who has done so much!
Of course, none of this would have been possible without our amazing teachers and staff. They have worked tirelessly this first half of the year to ensure high levels of learning while bringing excitement and creativity into every classroom. From engaging lessons to special events and activities, they have gone above and beyond to bring learning to life for our students. Whether it was a class project, a grade-level celebration, or just a daily moment of inspiration, our educators deserve a shout out!
Our PTA has been on fire this year with fundraising and planning some exciting projects we can’t wait to see come to life in the spring. And, of course, to all the families who have volunteered, joined events, or simply cheered us on from the sidelines, THANK YOU!
As we head into the holidays, I hope you find time to relax, cozy up, and enjoy time with your family and friends.
Happy Holidays to our amazing Miner Family.
See you in 2025,
Mrs. Ritte
