Board will ask voters in November for levy to pay for 43 teachers, technology & curriculum
ballots
The board approved a proposal to ask voters for a two-year supplemental levy of $3.6 million for the 2025-26 and 2026-27 school years. If approved, the levy will fund:

$3,359,360 for teacher salaries and benefits to:

  • Maintain 37 teaching positions
  • Add 6 new teachers to help reduce class sizes

$250,000 for technology and curriculum needs

If the levy is not approved, district administrators shared that $3.2 million in reductions would be necessary, including cutting 37 teaching positions, which would increase class sizes, change high school schedules, reduce kindergarten to half-time, and limit career technical education program options.
