New Student Registration

To enroll in Kuna schools for the 2024-25, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Create a parent account in the PowerSchool Enrollment system:

Step 2: Complete the online enrollment form

Step 3: The online enrollment form allows you to upload digital copies of the following forms:

  • An original or certified copy of your child's birth certificate
  • Immunization records with proof of required immunizations
  • Proof of address (phone bill, utility bill, or signed rental agreement)
  • Legal documentation specifying custody agreements (when appropriate)

If you were not able to upload electronic copies of the documents, you can bring them to the school.

Step 4: Check school websites in August 2024 for back-to-school information. 

 

 

Open Enrollment:

In the Kuna School District, every school offers an excellent education for students. The district is committed to sustaining outstanding schools and fostering strong relationships between parents and teachers.
We recognize that some assigned school attendance areas may not meet the needs of families in our district, and some families live outside of our district boundaries and want to choose our schools for their children.  Idaho law (33-1402) allows us to offer an opportunity to apply for a change of school through open enrollment.

Frequently Asked Questions: 

  • How old do children need to be to attend kindergarten in Idaho? A child must be age 5 on or before Sept. 1
  • Is kindergarten full-time or half-time? Kindergarten is full-time in the Kuna School District
  • Can we visit the school? Open house events are scheduled in August, please contact the school directly.
  • Is there busing? Busing is available for families who live 1.5 miles or further from their assigned school.
