Welcome to the 2010-2011 School Year

Kuna School District’s 2010-2011 School year starts on August 30 with a 2 hour early release.

All parents are invited to meet and greet their child’s teacher, staff members and principal on Monday morning from 8:00 -9:00.

A cashier will also be available for you to pay for school lunches.

Welcome to Fremont H. Teed Elementary!

It is our desire that the school and parents can jointly support each other in the education of your children. As parents, you are the most important people in your child's life. You have more influence over him/her than the school will ever have. Your influence is vital to helping your child to succeed. Your child needs to know that we are working together to encourage responsible behavior and wise choices.

Teed Elementary is excited about all the new changes that have come about in the Kuna School District. We serve students in grades four through six grade. Hubbard Elementary, next door to us, will educate students in grades kindergarten through third. Together we will provide a continuous flow in the education process. The staff at Teed will strive to get to know every student and close the time gap that it takes each fall for teachers to get to know their students academically and socially.

Teed Elementary accepts students where they are academically as well as socially when they enter the classroom. We will attempt to plan academic programs that shall help the child experience success at his/her own level.

We encourage communication between parents, teachers, and students by involvement in the school's programs. We will also be sending out monthly newsletters with tips and ideas for helping your child at home.

School hours are from 8:15 a.m. to 2:35 p.m. Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. If your student will be absent, please call the front office before 9:00 a.m.
