Assessment

Welcome to the Kuna School District's assessment site.  Kuna School District students will be participating in a number of assessments during the 2009-2010 school year.  Please click here to access the Kuna School District's Assessment Calendar.

Accountability

Under No Child Left Behind (NCLB), every school in the State of Idaho is required to meet certain standards of measurable achievement, or Adequately Yearly Progress (AYP).  AYP is determined based upon Spring Idaho Standard Achievement Test (ISAT) scores for each school and for the school district as a whole.

There are over 50 different targets by which a school or the district can meet or miss AYP.  Click here for a list of each and every target schools are required to meet.

Schools who do not meet each and every AYP target for Reading, Math, Language Usage, or Graduation Rate are considered to be in AYP "jail."  For a list of Kuna schools and their AYP status, click here.  You can learn more about No Child Left Behind, the Idaho Standard Achievement Test, or Adequate Yearly Progress by visiting the Idaho State Department of Education website.
